Having agreed to instruct us to find you a suitable property, it is always best wherever possible to arrange a meeting. This could be on your first trip down to the
area. Alternatively it can be beneficial to meet at your current residence, which will allow us to see the style of property that you currently have, as well as discuss the features that you would wish to try to recreate in your new property, and those that you would not!
We will then undertake a thorough search throughout the marketplace in all the areas that you are
interested in, using a range of local contacts and estate
agents. To build up a full portfolio of properties that are on the market, and those that might be available only through word of mouth. It can sometimes also be beneficial to advertise the fact that you are looking for a specific property in the local and regional press, this can be discussed at our initial meeting.
Having discussed all the suitable properties that are currently available, we will make a preliminary visit to all those deemed suitable. Having done this we will compile a report on each individual property highlighting their advantages and shortcomings. This will allow you to decide which properties to view, and save you wasting time on those that are not suitable.
When you have decided on a property, we will negotiate on your behalf to secure it for you at the most favourable price possible.
Having secured a suitable property for you we can if required advise on solicitors, surveyors etc. We will also keep track with the progress of your purchase and advise you on how to keep everything progressing as smoothly as possible to a successful conclusion.
